  Had the Sunday carvery and it was great! Good selection of meats and a lot of vegetables to choose from! Sat outside in the gardens. Good service and great pub.

  Good food, nice coffee, pleasant staff. We visited on 03/11/2016 and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. Potatoe skins with bacon and cheese with side salad. Gorgeous. My wife had salmon, haddock and tuna fish cakes, which were, she say's beautiful. Nicely presented.

  Great place to eat and drink all week round. The menu is brilliant and caters to all groups. My 6yr old son is a fussy eater, and the staff are more than happy to change items to help. The Sunday carvery is where this place stands head and shoulders above the rest. I was very pleased to be asked how I would like my beef (medium rare/medium/well done), the fact that they had three separate beef cuts to choose from was great. This is not normally the case at a carvery and the fact that I like mine a bit pinker than others means that we are all happy. Cannot recommend highly enough.
